More specifically a EVIL FAIRY cause I think the mask I drew looks a little evil, lol. I think it's a pretty cool Halloween look though! I really need to work on camera angles. Most of the video was actually the top of my head, but luckily I wasn't doing anything to detremental to the look. I'm sorry if you can't see everything & I'll work on angles a lot more in the coming days XP I'm also sorry about the subtitles in the video. Some of them are hard to see, so if you have trouble reading them, please let me know :) This look is heavily inspired by cybergoth & rave fashion. I wore a look similar to this at a 4-H dance & to Dragon*Con & from there I got requests for this. The only difference was I used non-UV reactive colors. (For the best examples of this type of makeup, look up Domino from T3RR0R 3RR0R & Countess Grotesque) Also, please read the notes at the end of the video. This video is on how to use spirit gum to apply prosthetics to you, such as, in this example, the Steampunk Eye Patches - www.taeliacstudio.com - I've been making recently, but it works for any sort of prosthetic (aka shit you want to glue to your face). I'm sure everyone has their own little tips about how to use spirit gum, but this is just how I've been taught to use it, and have for ever. There have been so many people I've talked to, especially regarding the horn prosthetics - www.taeliacstudio.com - that claim that spirit gum never works for them, that we needed to film this tutorial. The most common error, when applying spirit gum, is not letting it get tacky enough before putting the two pieces together. Also, it is common for people not to realize that you need to put it both on the thing you want to glue to yourself, but your skin as well. --- How to tell when it becomes tacky Take the back of your fingernail and lightly touch it to the patch of spirit gum. If, when you pull your nail away, there isn't much residue, and the contact lifts the skin a bit, you're set.
